I saw reviews indicating that some buyers where not happy with this not fitting in a car cup holder. If you don’t need this to fit in a holder, (as that was not not what I needed) I highly recommend this cup for the following reasons:1. This size is 16 ounces, which allows me to use the large cup serving on my coffee maker.2. Technically, since it is wider on the bottom it then has less surface area on top to be affected by room temperature air and therefore stay hot longer.3. Well designed. Not too tall (4.75″) so it fits in smaller spaces. Also has a comfortable handle.

This travel mug won’t fit in standard cupholder in car but will keep coffee very hot down to the last drop for a very long time. I actually purchased it for home. If you routinely bolt a pint of scalding hot coffee, you don’t need this, any mug will do; if you like to sip hot coffee at your leisure you’ll love this mug! Nice-looking, sturdy and easy to clean. Be aware that the lid is not leakproof. It will leak a bit if turned upside down. It has a slide-top to expose the drinking port which can be adjusted to wherever you prefer. Only possible downside is it can’t be put in the dishwasher; not a gamechanger for me.All-in-all, I really like & highly recommend this insulated coffee mug; it would be a great gift for friends & relatives, too!

Just what I was looking for.
I like to begin my day with a cup of tea, so brewing a cup is the first thing I do each morning. The problem being that I get busy making breakfast or checking my emails and set the tea down and forget about it for a few minutes. Next thing I know I have a cold cup of tea. I wanted an insulated mug, but not a travel mug. This one is what I needed.Pros:The lid. I like how it glides to open and makes it easy to drink from it. I can easily open and close it; no difficult buttons to push or things to pull up on. It also comes apart for thorough cleaning. I can carry the mug from room to room without worrying about tea splashing over the side. I have noticed that some people complain that it isn’t leak proof. No where does the company claim that it is totally leak proof. It said it helps prevent leakages which is why I can carry it from room to room. If you knock it over, it will leak, but because of its shape and size, it isn’t all that easy to tip over anyway.The handle: Too many of the insulated mug handles are a piece of flat metal and not comfortable to hold and some are rather flimsy. This one is shaped nicely and is comfortable to hold.The colors and finish: I chose the blue and it is lovely. I also like how the coating feels; nice and smooth.Keeps the tea warm for a long time. I have a travel mug that keeps beverages hotter longer, but that isn’t what I need for my morning tea. It does keep it hot for the first hour or two and that is what I need.Cons:There is only one thing I would recommend the company add to the mug and that is some sort of rubber or silicone on the bottom to keep it from sliding on surfaces like glass or smooth wood. The slippery bottom could make it easy to knock it off a table, but I haven’t done that yet.All in all, I highly recommend this mug.

Good mug
I will start by saying that this is personally my favorite lidded mug, despite critique, just based on balance and feel. That being said, the cup’s base is definitely too wide to fit in any cup holder, and the lid seal is visibly not airtight – if it tips it will steadily leak your beverage, bottom line. As long as you don’t plan on using it as a reliable travel mug, however, it is very nice. Holds heat well, comfortable rim/mouthpiece, nice shape/handle aesthetically and ergonomically speaking.

I bought this for my mom as she is bed ridden.Itâs lightweight, which she needs. Keeps the liquid hot or warm for extended periods of time. A straw can be put in the opening if you want to.The lid is easy to move with the thumb. Easy to clean lid, love that it comes apart and snaps back together easily.Even though I bought it for my mom I have used it and love that I can enjoy my hot teas without them getting cold fast. Much more relaxing getting to sip them.

Generally good for hot drink, not good for cold drink
I’m happy with what I have for what I paid (about $14).It works fine for hot beverage. It’s splash proof as advertised; you put lid on walk around, it doesn’t splash. It’s not spill proof, so if you tilt the cup it will drip.However, when you put cold beverage with ice and try to drink with lid on, the content spills/flows from UNDER the lid, not just from the sipping hole. So for cold beverage you need to make sure you put mouth over the lid, otherwise drink will drip on to your face under you bottom lips.A problem is that the gasket is not tight fitting enough. When the gasket is cooled and slightly shrinks, the very small gap is created between the gasket and metal cup and the content drips under the lid when tilted. This is a design flaw. They should made the gasket slightly larger to have tighter fitting. It’s possible this may be the defect of the cup I received, also.I’m keeping the cup since I like different larger cup for cold drink and I only use this one for hot beverage.

Cold stays cold and hot stays hot!
This mug keeps my coffee hot! No more running to the microwave every 15 minutes to reheat it. That’s what I was looking for, and I got it! Yay. Doesn’t keep it hot for 4 hours like they say, but I only need about 1 1/2 hrs at the most to sip my coffee. What I didn’t expect was how great it would be for my nightly treat of a couple scoops of ice cream. Wow! I love my ice cream solid, not soft and melty, and this cup is amazing for that. Hip-hip hurray!!

I purchased two different brands of coffee cups. This one also allows me to drink a cup of coffee slowly, and remain hot, hot, hot! This cup is red, the other cup is yellow. Both are different styles. It states coffee or wine, but I don’t think I would use it for wine, I prefer a glass!Thank you,PS

This right here is a man-sized mug for man-sized drinking situations. The wine glass shape not only makes it look unique, it’s very comfortable to hold and makes you feel like a big man. The included lid is indeed spill-proof when closed and surprisingly leak-resistant when held upside down. The sheer 16oz size of this mug is so big that even while drinking a small coffee out of it you’ll feel like a big man. The outer wall remains at comfortable temps while holding your favorite hot or cold beverage so that you can focus on your big man activities instead of worrying about your poor man hands. Unfortunately this mug is not suited for travel because it’s so damn big, but it’s also very easy to clean for the same reasons. If you’re in the office or at home and need a confidence booster that also acts as a beverage container, this is the mug to get.
