These filters effectively improve water quality for my Breville Barista Express. These filters reduce impurities, and protects the machine from lime scale buildup. I typically shy away from using tap water in my machine, but with these easy to install filters, using tap is not a problem for me! They are also a great cost effective option in comparison to the Breville brand filters.

These filters are great, fit well and are easy to install. Also like that they now come in a cardboard box vs. a plastic bag. The filters themselves come in plastic wrappers but like to see the brand shifting away from plastic where possible.

Like some of the reviews mentioned, the filter did come a bit too big. I simply cut a bit of the edges until it fit right. Overall it worked as it was supposed to.

Product arrived in a clear plastic wrapping bag. No literature or product marking at all. Seeing as I drink coffee every day, I would not want to risk using this product as I have no idea what is in it or where it comes from. Too risky for me to use. Quite unprofessional.

Nice product to replace BWF100 at a lower price (CA$12.99) in 2023. Also, for those who don’t know, in Aug 2024, this product was priced at CA$37.99, while Breville sold their original filter ‘Breville 6-Pack Replacement Water Filters (BWF100)’ at CA$29.99. I can only say this filter must be really really good with tones of high tech involving beating the original official one.
