Coffee grinders are at the heart of the historic Peugeot legacy dating back to 1840 when Peugeot debuted its iconic milling mechanism. These grand classic coffee mills perpetuate a long tradition that is anchored in appreciation for the blissful taste that can only be created with freshly ground coffee. Obsessed!
My husband bought this for me for Christmas knowing I love everything coffee! It’s so nice to use. I love the look as well. It’s so aesthetically pleasing & grinds my coffee beans up nicely. Pairs well with a French press or stovetop espresso maker. It’s nice to have a coffee grinder that doesn’t require electricity or batteries. Great for camping too!

Sometimes Old School is the Way to Go!
I bought this product a few months ago. Very well made and beautiful! It is easy to tell when you are done since the tension/resistance changes. I use it for the espresso machine and it works perfect. This is designed to last. The only thing I do not like is that it can be a bit messy with the pullout drawer leaving grinds on the drawer’s edge. Well worth the money for the working piece of art.

I love it. I still get coffee on the inside
I love it. I still get coffee on the inside, not in drawer, but not enough to change my coffee taste. I’m glad I bought it. Thx

I really like it as it is well made overall
This a cute piece, I really like it as it is well made overall. However I think it is grossly overpriced for what it is.On the negative side, it is hard to hold in place when milling and the ground coffee not only falls inside the drawer, but all over the drawer edges so when you pull the drawer out you have ground coffee all over the place, it is a mess and there is no way to avoid it. It is clearly a faulty design and I hope they change it.The grinding mechanism is beautiful and of good quality.

    Not a buy!
I had very high hopes for this grinder but it failed to deliver quality results. Peugeot makes a great grinder shaft but rest is completely useless. It makes a total mess with your coffee. Not only is the square box inefficient, it waste coffee all over the counter too.Peugeot redesign the whole coffee discharge assembly! Antique design equals poor engineering. Folks, this is just a high dollar waste for a kitchen ornament. If you want engineering inspiration follow “Handground Precision Coffee” grinders lead minus all the plastic of course.I do not recommend..

Don’t Waste Your Time or Money
This was a Christmas present that is being returned for the second time. First time I received it the product’s box was in really bad shape but the grinder appeared fine. The replacement/exchange one was received in even worse shape and this time the grinder is actually damaged. Absolutely no care given to ensuring customers receive this in an undamaged, unused way. Really disappointing considering the price point.

I grew up with old coffee grinders in the house. A staple in any traditional European household. The sounds of the weekend always have fresh homemade sweets and freshly ground European coffee.Easy to adjust the coffee grind from fine to corse. This Peugeot holds true to the origins of the company. It not simply a machine for show, it is a machine for grinding, and plenty of it. Well designed and improved upon. This is not like the cheaper units you find from “coffee brands” doing promotions giving a $5.00 knockoff. The metal machining inside is superb, clearances are tight, nothing moves that shouldn’t. A solid coffee grinder and I would be hard pressed to find anything better.
