Helps keep the chips from going stale. I also like to use them for frozen food backs to help keep close and reduce freezer burn. Hold up in the freezer well. True to size . Stays closed. Looks nice and uniform

These have a strong grip
First I love the rose-gold color. Second I like that they have a firm grip to keep packages held tight. They work well in the freezer as well as on packages in the pantry. They are strong and last a very long time. I’ve had this same type of stainless clips that have lasted for a few years. I recommend these food clips.

Who likes a cheap colorful chip click, in the sea of loudly branded/packaged pantry items? Not this lady. 🙂 This is the clip for you if you appreciate utility and minimal design. Clips well, wide lip to secure bag openings well. Great spring/tension. I recommend!

Solid performer as a chip bag clip
The clips I received absolutely matched the specific product I selected: the 8-pack of stainless steel chip clips. These were NOT plastic, not plastic which was then coated in paint or some other shiny substance. These were real metal all the way.I would rate their strength as moderate. They weren’t as strong as the heavy duty large binder clips you can get from your local office supply store (or Amazon), but they were more than strong enough to hold a large bag closed, and their added width (as opposed to the aforementioned large binder clips) is very useful for larger chip bags.The only potential down side to this product is that the pinch ends are not textured, rubber-coated, or anything else which would enhance gripping while opening the clip. That said, since the clips are not exceptionally strong, I haven’t found that lack of grippy-ness a problem, so I don’t feel the need to remove a star for that.All of the color products available on this page appear to be metal, but I can absolutely confirm that the silver ones are 100% metal. I can see the confusion others have had, however: other similar product pages do have mixed offerings with one or two options/variants/colors which are metal and the other options which are plastic.
