I bought this with the intent of placing a single tea package in a clear glass mug & gift-wrapping each for Thank You gifts for numerous staff & teachers at my son’s school so the small size of the wooden box didn’t make a difference to me but I was still surprised when I opened it. I posted a picture of me holding it for reference (I wear size S or XS gloves).I did try one of the teas before I gave it as a gift – it was delicious (I tried the bergamot pearl) and it “bloomed” perfectly.

Maybe I expected too much, but the description and pictures made it seem like you would have beautiful flowers open in your tea. I have seen beautiful dried flowers so I expected colorful flowers like the picture instead itâs a big glob that fills the entire cup rubbing your lips like seaweed or kelp from the ocean, not pleasant feeling to me. The fragrance is nice like perfume almost too faux! Iâm glad I didnât give these as gifts otherwise I would have been embarrassed. Not really even a cute novelty to have around for entertainment. Too expensive to be a disappointment.
