Our signature flavor starts with a medium roasted blend of Central and South American coffees, and then adds a taste and aroma that evokes memories of a beautiful Muskoka spring morning at the sugar shack. Muskoka’s climate is perfect for the sugar maple, which is the best producer of high quality sap. After 40 years of growth, a sugar maple will provide about 40 litres of sap during the 6 week sugaring season, which will produce one litre of maple syrup. A properly tapped tree can continue to do this annually for 100 years. If you haven’t visited Muskoka during a syrup harvest and tasted thick maple syrup poured on snow (a taffy), then add it to your list.

Good flavor
A little lighter in flavor, but the best blend for mornings. Lovely sweet maple flavor.

Great tasting coffee
Very good coffee, yum.

Good coffee, but pods don’t fit
I had gotten this coffee in the past, and liked it enough to try it again. But this new package, the pods are slightly too big to fit in my coffee maker. I can open the pod and dump the coffee into the single-serve basket, so at least I can enjoy the coffee, but that’s a hassle and the grounds are too fine for that filter so it comes out a bit gritty.

Fine coffee, less maple
I wasn’t expecting overpowering amounts of maple flavor, but there still isn’t as much as I had hoped. Fine coffee overall, I would recommend it, but honestly maybe adding a bit of actual maple syrup to your cup is the best option for coffee if you want a strong maple sugar flavor. (Pro-tip: you can store maple syrup in the freezer as a liquid, making it easy to dispense, and it will last more or less indefinitely, as the combination of cold and concentrated hygroscopic sugars make it nearly impossible for microorganisms to live and reproduce.)

A surprisingly well balanced and nuanced flavored coffee.
Typically I am not a fan of flavored coffees as they never seem to taste like coffee but rather just flavor. I don’t mind adding some flavor now and then but it needs to be balanced. I want to savor the coffee as the added flavor. But this is one coffee that breaks out of the flavored coffee mold. It is so balanced, and SMOOTH! The nuanced flavors of the beans and roast they selected combined with the subtle yet unmistakable maple flavor will have your taste buds thanking your profusely. It is hands down my favorite coffee in the world so far. I discovered it over ten years ago while visiting Canada and have yet to find anything I like better. And I have tried and loved a LOT of coffees.

Loved it
I love trying new coffees so this was a new one for me. I definitely enjoyed it. Beautiful aroma, lovely taste. 5 stars for sure.

Disappointed at the absence of any maple taste or aroma
I bought this particular coffee deliberately and exclusively because I was looking for a MAPLE coffee and the word “maple” is in the product name and there were reviews saying it tastes like maple — but that’s not my experience which is that this would be a good coffee for someone who wants a bland weak coffee that does not have any maple taste. I gave it two stars for at least being not the worst coffee I’ve ever had and it is drinkable, but I’m completely disappointed that I can’t detect anything maple about it.

A favourite at our house. I love this after supper. Quells my dessert cravings.
Michael Ledebrink –
This is my favorite bean of their line up. It has an intoxicating aroma which does translate to taste after brewing. The taste is quite subtle compared to the smell, which is perfect. It pairs well with brown sugar, honey and maple syrup. Considering this to be a daily driver due to how decadent it is. Definitely a cup that brightens the rest of your day. Aki is also quite good as a basic cup for daily use. I will be trying lumber jack as well. Thanks Muskoka Roastery.

I really enjoyed this coffee. It was mellow, smooth and aromatic with no bitter aftertaste. I will definitely order more.

Muskoka Roastery coffees are not cheap but they are very good. We like flavoured coffees and Maple is our favourite. Not a strong flavour but more mellow than many coffees and a light maple flavour. I often purchase direct from Muskoka Roastery themselves but you have to order 4 in order to get free shipping and I can get free shipping anytime here with Prime, plus the Maple is less expensive here.
