    Excellent Product!
This airtight container holds the coffee beans securely in an airtight position. The glass is fairly thick (don’t know the diameter) the black insert a tight fit, and wooden top finishes the look. Beautifully designed and crafted product.

Works great for keeping coffee beans fresh
I highly recommend this medium (7″) container. It keeps my coffee fresh and holds a full pound of whole beans (see picture). The seals are supple and do their job of 360-degree sealing. What I like about this is that it forces the excess air out, thus reducing the rate of oxidation. I also prefer to NOT have a vacuum so additional CO2 is not pulled out of the beans. While both lids work together to keep out fresh air it cannot be considered leak-proof. Even with the handle in the “lock” position on the inner lid it’s still possible to insert and extract it. While there is a seal at the vent port in the center of the inner lid it’s not aero-space engineered for absolute sealing! Thus if you got a fresh-from-the-roaster batch of beans and tossed them in there and sealed it all up, the beans would still be able to out-gas the CO2 and burp from the center vent of the inner lid with a small but sufficient pressure while the top lid, if there was enough pressure, would be pushed up and allow the gases to vent. Since I get my beans about a week aged this is not a concern.People need to be a bit more reasonable with their expectations. With both lids, used in a typical kitchen environment, it will be overkill for keeping goods fresh versus an ordinary metal or ceramic container that doesn’t have a seal — or left in the bag like I used to do, LOL.Cons:- It’s a fingerprint magnet.- You will see how “dirty” it gets e.g. coffee bean oils. If you’re of the mindset of “if it doesn’t look dirty it doesn’t need to be cleaned” then get one of their metal units.- If your goods need to be kept in the dark this isn’t it. But AirScape does make containers that are not clear and do the same great job!Pros:- Holds a pound of coffee beans with room to spare!- Allows you to see exactly how much is left (less guess work). I keep my container in a spot that doesn’t get much artificial light, no sunlight, and I got through a pound quickly so light exposure is not an issue for me.- The lid is real wood. Elm I believe.- Does stop air exchange as designed.I struggled with deciding on getting one of their metal, colored units instead of this as the metal ones look great. Hmm, I just may do that for the pre-ground coffee my wife uses…

    Glass Storage Jars
I wanted glass storage jars amd these fit the bill. They store my tea and coffee and keep them fresh with the interior seal that removes air from the jar.

    Worth the money
Works well. Definitely keeps the coffee fresh. Very satisfying ASMR to use. Fits quite a bit of coffee. I put pre ground coffee in it and the grounds do stick to the seal as you pull it out so this is really ideal for whole bean or rice or something like that. But I get compliments on it whenever someone sees me use it.

Tons of research by a coffee aficionado – very satisfied with this coffee bean canister
As a remote employee who works from home and needs his coffee every morning as part of my daily ritual, I was determined to find the best coffee canister within a reasonable price that also looked good on my kitchen counter. I scoured every corner of the internet for coffee canister reviews and read several independent review articles. I was considering the Fellow brand, along with ceramic ones from furniture and housewares stores like Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Target, and more. I decided to give this Airscape canister a try after never hearing of this brand before, and I’m extremely satisfied with my choice. Not only does it keep my beans super fresh and prevents them from drying out, but it’s the perfect size container, made of quality materials, and looks elevated in my kitchen. I’d buy this again and recommend it if you’re having trouble deciding on a canister for your own beans.

    Great for storing coffee beans
My husband is pretty fanatical about his coffee beans and he is very happy with this glass canister, which he is using to store them. He thinks it does a great job of keeping the air out and supporting the freshness of the beans.

A marvelous canister by Airscape that keeps coffee beans fresher longer than any other I’ve used.
This canister’s airtight lid helps keep coffee beans fresh for full extraction. I no longer need to roll my coffee up in a plastic bag before putting it into an metal ‘airtight’ canister. I buy my beans 12 oz at a time, which is a perfect fit for this size Airscape. Then I store the canister in a dark cabinet until I’m ready to grind and pull a perfect shot with rich, thick crema, sweet caramel body, and slightly bitter heart. I’m guaranteed a glorious cup for the entire month and that is something to celebrate. This canister an especially great addition to my coffee tool kit because I go through my stash on average at a slow rate of one double espresso per day. Before I started using Airscape, my beans would lose that fresh roasted sweetness midway through the bag and the thick crema disappeared. Now my stash stays fresh to the last bean. Finally, before using this airtight canister, I thought Airscape was a bit overpriced. After storing my fresh roasted coffee beans in it, and comparing shots pulled from beans kept in the Airscape to shots made from my non-vacuum canister, it’s clear that the freshness the Airscape preserves makes it a genuine bargain.
