4.5 Stars.And yes, since you asked, Amazon does need to go to a more precise ten-star rating system.I give this coffee high marks for being organic and at a great price point.The taste is quite good, but there is a slight sharp tinge to it, making it a tiny bit unpleasant. I wish they would tweak that, then it would be an even better coffee and value.I may keep searching, but if I can’t find anything else, I can be content with this coffee.Update: I’m used to this coffee and like it fine.But one other thing: Peets need to change the color of its labels. Green is universally identified as the symbol of decaf coffee, whereas brown suggests the full strength variety. Peets has this exactly backward. It’s unintuitive and confusing.

I have enjoyed drinking Peet’s coffee especially as I previously lived in San Francisco Bay area where it is roasted. As the local grocery store stopped carrying organic coffee that I enjoyed, I discovered Peet’s organic french roast. There is a deep, robust flavor. While sometimes on sale in store, it has been less expensive lately on Amazon so here we are. May your cup always be full.

Things could get really bad in this world but so long as I have plenty of this coffee available, I will survive. I use a pour over single cup coffee funnel, unbleached cone filter, and have a water kettle with a temp gauge so maybe I’m a little particular about my coffee. But there are few simple pleasures I treasure as much as my morning cups of Peet’s Major Dickason’s blend coffee.It is dark, robust and brings that coffee flavor without the acidity of many other coffees. This coffee is not for people who drink the light brown see through puddle water at work from a freeze dried can. No, this is for people who get out of bed feeling like they are carrying a 100lb bag of rocks and want to flip on the switch get after your day. It is dark, no question, but with a touch of cream/half and half this goes down smooth and doesn’t turn your stomach into an angry growling pit.I enjoy the fact it is extremely consistent from bag to bag, month to month, year to year.***Pro Tip: It does go out of stock on occasion. If you have a VacuSeal with the “Accessory” vacuum attachment, you can vacuum these bags from the built in air valve built into the front of the bag. Then simply place a small piece of clear tape over it. I throw mine in the freezer after vacuum and they stay compressed like a brick, frozen and fresh for a year (probably longer). Try it and thank me later.

Peets Major Dickason’s kcups are my absolute favourite but hard to find at a reasonable price.My wife and I recently switched to the fill our own pods to help reduce waste and save money so I was excited to try this but alas I’m not convinced that this is the real deal.

I was really disappointed with this purchase. The coffee bag appeared to have been previously opened, as the sealing tape had coffee residue all over it. This made me question its freshness and whether it had been tampered with.Additionally, the expiration date was unclear, almost as if it had been deliberately smudged or wiped off, making it impossible to verify how fresh the coffee actually is. On top of that, the packaging looked old and worn out, not what I would expect from a new, properly stored product.To make matters worse, when I tried to return it, I discovered that this coffee is non-returnable, which only added to my frustration. I do not recommend purchasing from this listing unless youâre willing to take the risk of receiving an opened or expired product.
