Like waking up to a old friend.
Installed this on my office and have been using it as my morning coffee maker for a few weeks no. Simple to get up and running in the morning when your brain hasn’t caught up with your body yet. Makes a decent pot of coffee that has a even extraction unlike some models that just pour water on one spot and you can see dry grounds when you dump the basket. I usually don’t drink drip coffee that much but for a office where a few folks need some Joe this works out.

Has built-in filter basket so don’t have to run out to get filters for this. You can just dump out the old coffee grounds, rinse it and pop it back in for the next brew.Brews 12 cups in under 15 mins.I like the ‘anti-collision thermal protection’ feature…helps protect you (and maybe kids) from accidentally touching the hot carafe while reaching for something else on your countertop.The touchscreen buttons are very easy to activate. Maybe a little too easy. Every time I get near the LCD panel, my fingers seem to initiate the clock time change.As for the ‘keep warm’ feature, you’re supposed to be able to set it to keep warm for up to 4 hours after the brewing. This was the only thing that didn’t seem to work for me. The instructions to set this was pretty simple….”press and hold the auto-off button for 3-4 seconds til it flashes then can change the length of time”. However, this didn’t work for me…so its stuck on the default keep-warm time which is 30 minutes. I’d really love this to work. I plan to reach out to them to see if this is a fluke or what.Besides that, everything else on it works as expected. It brews good coffee and looks great on my countertop.

Avigator Makes a Well-Made Coffee Maker
Perfect coffee maker for my needs. All the basic functions I am looking for plus a few extra. Big 12 cup capacity (1.8l). The clock function allows for post-brew. Intensity brew called “CARAFE TEMP” to strengthen smaller brews. The cleaning function comes in handy. Also, I like the extended timer function to keep the warming plate operational for up to 4 hours on the days I am home. Comes with a reusable coffee ground straining basket too! I have been enjoying delicious brews from this Avigator coffee maker!

A good coffee maker, maybe not a $90 coffee maker.
I like this brewer quite a bit, itâs attractive, easy to program and makes good coffee; it hits all the marks. The controls can be a little touchy, itâs a little too easy to change the clock by mistake for my liking as someone who uses the preprogram setting everyday, but it starts really reliably and that outweighs any annoyance. Itâs very easy to clean, the housing holds up well-no scratches or tarnishing so far. The pot does not leak when you pour it which was a constant problem with our previous coffee maker and the opening is very wide so thoroughly scrubbing and rinsing the inside is very easy. There are three different temperature settings for the warming plate which was not something I ever considered and so far has stayed unwaveringly on medium for us but it may be a selling point for some. That said, I cannot figure out why this coffee maker is priced so high. Everything works beautifully, and maybe Iâm taking that for granted but $90 is incredibly expensive for a drip coffee maker and I cannot pick out a specific feature to justify that price.

Great coffee maker
Nice, simple coffee maker. Very straight forward to use and makes a great cup of coffee! There is a timer that you can set so you have fresh coffee in the morning, and there is a burner so you can keep your carafe warm. Great coffee maker.

Good machine
This coffee maker works as expected. I didnât see anything wrong with the device. Iâm not fully convinced the value is present at full price but itâs a good machine. My only real issue was the packaging. I couldnât give this as a gift. It certainly wouldnât look like I spent nearly the listed price in the rather plain brown box they packaged it in.
