Yes. SimCoker’s ceramic burr is removable and replaceable.
Can I grind items other than coffee beans?
The coffee mill is designed for coffee beans. To preserve the flavor of your coffee, we do not recommend using it to grind other items with strong or distinct odors.
How can I clean it?
You can clean the coffee mill with water. Also we recommend hand washing because most of the parts of the coffee mill are removable and may be easily lost in machine washing.

Glad I got one!
Works well. Easy to use for a manual grinder. Got this one for our camping kit as the wife and I are both aging into coffee snobs. Comes apart and it’s easy to clean if you need to. Just pay attention to how it comes apart and you should be able to get it all to fit back together easily enough. I don’t think it’s possible to put things in backwards but given some of the guys I work with I’m learning never to underestimate people’s ability to force something that doesn’t belong there into place.

I am enjoying grinding coffee. The fresh ground coffee makes a better cup of coffee. The grinder is very economical. With the supplied brush its easy to clean. It was very easy to adjust the grind to the coarseness I wanted.

I wanted a small/compact manual grinder to take camping to use with French press or pour-over. I also wanted something durable and not plastic. This fit the bill on all counts. The ceramic conical burrs grinds beans consistently and easily. Iâve found that if Iâm only brewing a cup, I prefer to use it at home too over my electric burr grinder.

Assembly diagram incomplete
Yes it is “cute” and it grinds coffee. I can figure out how to fill the chamber and turn the knob. Operation and adjustment are obvious. But when cleaning it, which is required after use, burr, spring, and two washers fall out. How about a COMPLETE assembly drawing showing ALL small parts so the device is not destroyed in an atempt to put it back together? Is this a copy protected trade secret?Update: If the seller can’t provide an exploded-view diagram showing ALL parts large and small I would not recommend this grinder. There is no contact information for the manufacturer or seller included with the package.

A worthy product.
This is a great little grinder. I roast my own beans, grind normally with an electric, and brew with Aeropress. This is for travel…. Light, compact, not used everyday, and easy to clean. Works just as expected. My only less than 5 stars comment is absent guidance on reassembly after cleaning and a washer fell out. Customer support was 5 star in guiding me. Well done Simcoker!

Useful for Black Pepper Too
This has to be one of the best black pepper grinders….I use lots, and like it fresh. Grind a pinch or a tablespoon in seconds with real adjustable grinding capability. It gets an everyday workout

First of all this little baby fits in your pockets, hello portability for coffee fiendsâ⨠also it’s perfect for camping. The wooden handle it feels nice in your hand not hard to turn it. Also the Uber need chamber doesn’t falls out at all, it’s almost succion in. Plus the amount of time that I take grinding medium roast specialty coffee for 3 decent size cups(400ml/500ml) for the French press, it’s the time that it takes heat up the water ⨠it’s kind of like a game for ADHD’ers and you need the extra trill. Also it’s needed a photo with my Costa Rican coffee ð¨ð·ð¥â¨ Over all if your thinking if this is for you I really recommended. 10/10 ð

This is a great little grinder, solid and sturdy without much to go wrong. The handle slips into a little rubber holder on the side, which also doubles as a grip when you’re grinding and the whole thing fits in a little pouch for when you need to do your grinding on the move.If anything, the little wooden handle could be a bit bigger so you don’t catch your knuckles when turning it, but that’s a small gripe with an otherwise excellent item, and it’s fantastic for the price.I haven’t had it long enough to vouch for its durability but it feels as if it could go on for years.
