This spoon is awesome! It has some weight to it, has a long handle and I reach for it all the time. The long handle allows you to get to the bottom of the jar. It is well made, cleans easily, and you will wonder how you did without it. Buy more than one…you’ll be glad you did.

Works perfect for tea
The item I received is exactly the same as the photo with the centimeter marks on the handle with 5cc labeled on the small spoon and 15cc on the large spoon.The size of the spoons is accurate as I used a teaspoon and a tablespoon from my own measuring spoon set and they fill the 5cc and 15cc spoons exactly (note that a US teaspoon is about 4.9cc and one tablespoon is about 14.8cc).The spoon is well-made. The handle is relatively thick so it doesn’t bend easily. The insides of the spoons are mirror-polished which makes them easy to clean. The overall length is right at 8 inches, so it should be easy to scoop tea out of most any storage container made for loose leaf tea.BTW, before I ordered this, I didn’t know how big a tea scoop should be, so I cut open a tea bag (Lipton) and poured it into a measuring spoon and it filled a 1-teaspoon to exactly level. I saw some reviews saying this spoon is too large for tea, but it works perfectly. I bought this to use with my electric iced tea maker and now I can use a coffee filter and loose tea instead of teabags and it’s working perfectly.

I love this measuring spoon!
I bought this spoon to put with my tea making stuff. I am so glad I did! It comes in so handy for so many things in my kitchen. It’s great for it’s original purpose of making tea and drinks in the kitchen and it is great backup for when your cooking or baking and need extra measuring spoons. My husband took off with my first one to use for mixing hummingbird food – the long handle makes it great for both measuring and stirring!

Why didn’t I get one of these years ago?
This is so sturdy and nicely made, and having the tablespoon on one side for ground coffee, the teaspoon on the other for instant coffee or sugar, is great. Reaches down into dry coffee creamer, or sugar, coffee bag. What’s not to like? Made things so much easier. Glad to have found this. Amazon is amazing in all the wonderful things I’ve found, with the benefit of reviews. No local store can match it.UPDATE: Be careful when washing this by hand. Always use a scrubber between you and it. I just used my finger to wash inside the rim, making sure it felt clean, and it sliced like a razor. So use caution with the edge.
