Versatile and ready to use
This is a neat overlay for a couch armrest that provides a cup holder, remote holder, and phone/tablet holder—or with the insert removed, a flat surface with raised edges. The whole thing is crafted nicely and the insert fits well without too much play. It has small, rubber nubs for decent grip on the armrest.However, I must say the shape of the unit itself will work much better with flat armrests compared to rounded ones like mine. It rocks left and right on my armrest if any force is applied. This is not a big deal, but I deduct a half star for that. A pair of shaped inserts for the bottom to account for rounded armrests would solve this problem.I take away another half star because I wish there were more finishes from which we could choose to match decor. A darker oak or even mahogany would work better for my couch.

Oh, catering to all my worst habits, this is a couch-potato’s dream!Light, golden bamboo caddy that nestles securely over the arm of your couch or lounger. Central, rectangular console is divided into two spaces (kind of like and inverted exclamation point). supported and held in place by overlapping “wings” that hug the armrest. Very simple yet very neat device, kind of like a barrel roll. This allows for expansion to brace on larger rests or constriction for smaller and more narrow. Still holding the center deck in place.The central console/tray has a bow square compartment for holding mugs and cups, slotted to nestle the handle, or can be used with the provided snack bowl (also square so a perfect fit, also plastic for easy cleaning, also yellow for eeeh not my fav). A stern long slot for laying things like remotes or cigars or breadsticks or flashlights or whatever longer things you want right to hand when on the couch.Now I can have my coffee and madeleines at my fingertips in rustic, bamboo style as a contemplate the memories of things past there on my couch…

Hold the necessities
I like that it can hold your drink and your remote controls. That’s all I needed it for. Even though my arm rest is slanted it still doesn’t slip off. The only thing is you can’t really put a plate or anything if you want to snack.

After multiple failed attempts with other armrest trays, I finally found one I enjoy! The bamboo wood looks great, matches any decor, and is easy to clean. It’s weighted enough to stay put on the armrest and has spots for my drink, phone, and remote. The design fits snugly on any sofa arm without gaps. I highly recommend this tray—don’t waste time on others that don’t work!
