feels a little incomplete to be considered a bundle
i feel like its missing the whisk. it’s kind of weird that these two are the only items on the bundle.i hope they modify this to include the whisk next time even for a little increase in price. i believe more people would buy this because its good quality (at least from the time i purchased it until now it’s A-ok)⢠i had to buy a whisk from another bundle which includes those other items that i dont use (Bamboo Scoop (Chashaku) & Stainless Steel Sifter)

The PERFECT size chawan.
I really struggle with eyeballing the amount of water to use when making matcha, and this is compounded by the fact that I hate the sound of my bamboo whisk scraping against the bottom while frothing but most chawans are so wide that you either end up using WAY too much water or the water is only an inch high. This one is the exception and I absolutely love it for that. It’s much smaller in diameter but perfect; I have 5 chawans and this one lets me get the best froth EVERY time and because the bottom is rounded, it’s super easy to tell exactly how much water is in there. I love it. It’s great, sturdy quality – it already survived a crash to the ground (thank you to my cat) without a mark. Would definitely get in more colors.

Beautiful Design and Sturdy Build
What a beautiful bowl! I recently got into matcha so this is the first bowl Iâve had. The inside is white and smooth so it is easy to clean. The bowl itself is heavy (for itâs size) and is great quality. We couldnât help but say âwowâ when we unboxed it, it really is beautiful.

Deep bowl whisks better
This review is for the Ochcahser Machta Set, Coarse Pottery.I’m not sure what color “coarse pottery” envisions, but the grayish off white is pretty. What pleased me, and what I did not expect, I find it easier to achieve foam in the Ochcahser bowl than in another more shallow matcha bowl I have.The Ochcahser set includes the bowl and matching chasen, no whisk. If you need a set with a whisk, look elsewhere. Or better, get the Ochcahser set and purchase a good whisk.I am not Japanese, and for me the most important characteristic of a matcha bowl is the esthetics. I would say the Ochcahser is the most attractive matcha bowl I have.Recommended. Five stars.

Gorgeous
Came very secure in a box with lots of padding. The bowl is thick and the weight feels good in your hands. The mottled rock color is gorgeous. It’s very accurate to the photos. My whisk fits perfectly in the holder.
