Great taste for a great price
I got this coffee to try with my moka pot because my usual brand (Illy Classico moka grind) is not available in stores in my area and it’s fairly pricey even though it does taste great. I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I brewed the first pot I was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing flavor that is very similar to, if not better than Illy Classico.The package was vacuum bricked like I remember all the good coffee in the 80s/90s being before they went to the plastic jugs (Folgers). The vacuum was tight and kept the contents very fresh giving off the hiss of air rushing into the bag when first opened.The fact this comes in a vacuumed foil lined packaging that takes up less space in the garbage and doesn’t cause awkward piling until a dump run is made is a huge plus for me because I truly dislike oversized packaging that takes up far more space than needed and as much as I love the metal cans that illy comes in i only need so many and can only do so much with the cans to reuse or up cycle them.I will definitely be ordering this again when I need to get more and I do believe I found a coffee that I will continue to use for years to come. I will obviously use others as well but this will always be in my pantry from now on because I like to be pretentious and this coffee fits that bill nicely.

I was hesitant to say the least…
So trying to cut my caffeine budget down I ordered this espresso due to the very low cost. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it is. I first made it in with my regular coffee and it had a nice robust flavor that blended well with Columbian ground. So I decided to go ahead with a 3 shot perk adding my syrup and cream as I would order from the coffee shop. It was high up in comparison and I’ll be making this brand for a long time. I’m sorry but Starbucks who???

This espresso is rich in flavor and high on aroma. The price is comparable to what I usually buy at my discount grocery store, but so much better in taste. I took away one star because the description said that this was a “brick” of coffee, and mine arrived in more of a bag. I’m not sure if it lost its vacuum, or if it was just designed that way because it looked more like a bag than a loose brick of coffee. Nonetheless, it was delicious and I would definitely buy it again.
